WAGON TRAIN
Wagon trains played an important role in the settlement and growth of Cedar City. Early settlers relied these wagon trains to carry families, supplies, tools, and goods across Southern Utah’s rugged terrain. These wagon routes helped connect Cedar City with neighboring settlements and became vital pathways for agriculture, ranching, trade, and the growth of the region. Each year, we have the privelege to step back in time and watch a wagon train travel from St. George, Utah to Cedar City, Utah and join us at our festival.
*Please note that because of the distance the wagon train travels, it is difficult for us to predict a set time they will arrive to the Arena. Please watch our Instagram and Facebook page closely for updates!
Schedule: Arrival is Friday, October 23rd, 2026 sometime in the afternoon
Location: South side of the Iron Rangers Arena
